Apiary for Practical Support Summit 2023
We are thrilled to announce that the Practical Support Summit is back! This fall, practical support organizations across the country will meet to learn from and with each other.
In a post-Dobbs landscape where the logistics of traveling to and from abortion appointments continues to get more and more complicated, this conference will be a much-needed space for community and shared learning between organizations and people working every day to get people safely to and from their care.
WHAT
The 2023 PS Summit is a two-day convening for the Practical Support Organizations in our Hivemind!
WHERE
For the safety and security of our team and attendees, the specific location of the Summit will not be publicized. But it will be in the Southwest! And there will be a virtual option!
WHEN
The specific dates will not be publicized. But it will be in the fall!
WHAT
We’ll be hosting workshops and panels that focus on practical, actionable tools that people can walk away with about how to do the work better. This can both mean literal toolkits but also best practices around client support and better understanding of structural issues that can hinder work. There will also be office hours with technical assistance collectives.
