Virtual Event: Roe Was the Floor, So We Took To The Sky

On June 24, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark decision in Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturned the constitutionally protected right to access abortion, leaving the question of whether and how to regulate abortion to individual states. In its aftermath, approximately 22 million women and girls of reproductive age in the U.S. now live in states where abortion access is heavily restricted, and often totally inaccessible. In the year following the Dobbs decision, we knew that clinics across the country would close, and that people seeking abortions would have to travel. The need for robust, coordinated, well-resourced practical support across the country has increased dramatically.

Join us for a panel event featuring speakers who have been on the front lines responding to the many new challenges the abortion access movement faces in this post-Roe reality, including growing and resourcing an effective national practical support infrastructure for abortion-seekers.
