2021 Was Many Things
…but it was also the year we launched!
Apiary is the only organization in the country built specifically by and for organizations that provide practical support (travel, housing, childcare, food) to people seeking abortions. 2021 was a big year for practical support and 2022 is about to be bigger so please - donate to help us continue our work!
Some Highlights
Organized the first ever large scale practical support summit, where 125 people from 45 organizations across the country came together to share and build community
Supported Texas organizations as the 6 week abortion ban went into effect
Got our first grant!!
Presented at Netroots Nation
Rallied at the Supreme Court
Shifted to provide free consulting services to practical support orgs!
We could not have done any of this without you: the practical support organizations who pushed us to build spaces for them in the movement, the funders and donors who saw us and trusted us, and, of course our friends and family who continue to support us in the wild adventure that is building an organization. Thank you, thank you. Practical support is the silent backbone of the abortion access movement and we are here to stand with you.
2022 is going to be so much more and our success requires the ongoing support of people like you. As a very new, very small organization we can use all your help to get the word out about us and our work.
